  Art Gautreau
Art Gautreau worked 30 years meticulously learning every aspect of the construction business before launching his own company in 1978. Over the years, he had learned the value of using only the best employees, that his reputation was only as good as his last project, and that customer service was as important as any other aspect of the business.

Originally focused on concrete work, Art’s reputation and business quickly grew after successful projects for Home Savings of America and other prominent banks. He added framing, drywall, and finish carpentry, enabling him and his team to offer remodeling, restoration, and new construction services to such companies as Knott’s Berry Farm — a rapport that continues today. It was this emphasis on building solid relationships and on being the best, not necessarily the biggest, that continues to pay off today through repeat business.

One by one, Art’s sons added their expertise to the company after Art’s passing in 1986. Today, Art Gautreau Inc. (AGI) still stands for the integrity, family values, and personal service that Art lived by.
